What You’ll Learn
- How to use medical language and communicate messages for doctors and patients.
- Patient management, including preparing medical records, reports and case histories and scheduling and following up on appointments.
- Procedural setups to help set up patients for in-office diagnostic tests and procedures, specimen sampling, medication administration, and examinations.
- Chronic disease management considerations and approaches.
- Office procedures like preparing financial statements and billing, including medical billing, insurance and other claims forms.
- Inventory management to order and maintain supplies.
- Safety and safe workplace best practices.

Admission Requirements
For Enrollment:
- High school diploma or equivalent, or mature student status (19 years or older).
- All applicants must complete a “Student Declaration” form.
- Applicants must receive a minimum score of 13 on the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam (measuring cognitive ability, math, English and reasoning.)
