Executive Team

CEO

Jay Orosa

Jay has spent most of his career in healthcare in the areas of bio-pharmaceuticals, health care transportation, senior care and healthcare education. In addition to having been the CEO of two start-up companies that have grown to be successful businesses, Jay’s passion lies in the field of education and training. Jay has also had experience as a trainer and as a career coach, helping individuals from all backgrounds develop themselves and navigate their careers. “I want to take all the skills and experience I have to the next level and through Ameridian Pacific College, support those who invest in themselves, their education and their future.”

COO/CAMPUS DIRECTOR

Carolina Orosa

Carolina has over 27 years experience in Marketing and Operations, with the past 12 years being as a business owner, where she ran a successful homecare company in the Greater Vancouver area, with a staff of over 300 employees. She is focused on operational excellence and passionate about fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and personalized service to ensure students graduate feeling empowered and fully equipped for their new careers.

ADMISSIONS ADVISOR

Garima Sapra

Garima has a Master’s degree in Psychology and over 10 years experience in the Admissions role for both universities and private career colleges. Her comprehensive knowledge of the admissions process along with her experience in student counseling has allowed her to assist many students in making successful transitions into their intended academic pathways. Together with her strong communication abilities and her leadership abilities, she has always made sure that families and students receive outstanding service.

STUDENT SERVICES MANAGER

Chris Le

Chris is seasoned with over 6 professional years in both private and public academia as an instructor and campus administrator in British Columbia. She brings her experience to Ameridian with the goal of providing enrichment and support to our students in their post-secondary journey. Outside of her time with Ameridian, she is often found in the fictional worlds of her books, volunteering for local animal rescues, and conducting robotics workshops to youth in the community.

ACSW INSTRUCTOR

Ron Acuzar

Ron was a physician in a psychiatry unit until 2011, working with patients who struggled with addictions and mental health issues. He has been teaching numerous social services programs for 9 years. Ron also facilitates ASIST (Applied Suicide Prevention Skills Training) workshops. He is passionate about raising suicide awareness and educating the public on how to effectively help an individual at-risk of suicide.

MOA INSTRUCTOR

Kelley Khemiri

Kelley began her career as a Health Unit Clerk in Emergency Medicine, working in Oncology, General Surgery, Community Health, Psychology and Program Coordination. She has been an MOA/Medical Administrative Assistant and Health Unit Clerk Instructor for 9 years, and also an SME (Subject Matter Expert) and Curriculum Developer. Student success and mentoring are some things she prides herself in. Her experience as an in class and online/remote Instructor, has given her the best of both worlds. Her students are successful graduates, employed and well on their way to a wonderful career path.
